A soldier shot in Dormaa Central has recovered. The incident happened in January during an operation against illegal mining.
The soldier was part of an effort led by the National Anti-Illegal Mining Operations Secretariat NAIMOS. He was injured during an anti-galamsey operation.
NAIMOS has announced that the soldier is now fully recovered. He is preparing to return to his duties.
