Police officers in Kasoa have taken possession of about 2000 boxes filled with alcoholic drinks. These drinks did not have the required official registration.

The seizure happened during a normal patrol. Officers were specifically looking for people selling illegal goods.

The Kasoa District Police carried out the operation. They are working to stop the sale of unregistered products.

The drinks were found on July 5, 2026. This is according to Ghana Police Service records.

The owner of the unregistered alcoholic beverages has not been identified. Efforts are underway to find the responsible party.

This action highlights ongoing efforts to regulate trade and protect consumers from potentially harmful unmarked products.

The Ghana Police Service remains committed to enforcing laws against illicit trade across the country.

Further actions will be taken once the owner is identified, following legal procedures.
