Police officers in the Ashanti Region have confiscated a large number of unregistered alcoholic drinks. Approximately 500 cartons were found during a police operation.

This action was taken to prevent unwholesome products from entering the market and potentially harming consumers.

The operation was carried out by the Ashanti Regional Police Command.

The owner of the seized alcoholic beverages is currently cooperating with the police as part of their investigation.

Authorities are working to ensure that only approved and safe products are available for sale to the public.

This seizure is part of ongoing efforts by the Ghana Police Service to uphold public safety and health standards.
