The Ghana Police Service has arrested three suspects in connection with a series of robbery incidents reported in Afienya, Atadeka, Apollonia and surrounding communities in the Greater Accra Region. The arrests were carried out by the Special Support Unit following intelligence-led operations conducted between December 24 and December 26, 2025.

Police identified the suspects as Seth Noi Tetteh, also known as Wonder, Selasie Emmanuel, and Sulemana Osman. According to police accounts, Seth Noi Tetteh was first arrested and placed in custody at the Atadeka Police Station after being linked to multiple robbery incidents in the area.

During interrogation, police say Seth Noi Tetteh admitted involvement in several robberies across a wide stretch of communities, including Afienya, Atadeka, Apollonia, Spintex Road, Airport Residential Area, Community 18, Ashaiman, Mataheko and Oyibi. He is alleged to have told investigators that he operated with accomplices.

Further intelligence gathered from the interrogation led officers to Kasoa Ofankor on December 26, where Selasie Emmanuel and Sulemana Osman were arrested at what police described as their hideout. A search conducted at the location resulted in the recovery of one pump action gun, one BB cartridge, one Bruni pistol and three rounds of ammunition. The items have been secured by police as exhibits to support ongoing investigations.

Police say all three suspects are currently in custody and assisting with investigations. Authorities have not yet disclosed whether formal charges have been filed or when the suspects are expected to be arraigned before court. Efforts are ongoing to identify and arrest any other individuals believed to be connected to the alleged robbery network.

The Ghana Police Service has stated that the operation forms part of broader efforts to address armed robbery and violent crime in the Greater Accra Region. Police have urged members of the public to continue cooperating with law enforcement by providing timely information to support crime prevention and investigation efforts. All suspects are presumed innocent until proven guilty by a court of competent jurisdiction.
