A group from the New York City Police Department visited Ghana. They met with the head of the Ghana Police Service, Inspector-General Christian Tetteh Yohuno.
The meeting took place at the Police Headquarters in Accra. The NYPD delegation was there to talk about working together more closely.
This visit is part of an effort to improve how police in Ghana and New York City operate as a team. These kinds of meetings help share knowledge and tactics.
The Ghana Police Service welcomed the cooperation. They see it as a way to strengthen their efforts.
