A 30-year-old mechanic, Bilal Mohammed, and his 23-year-old apprentice, Ibrahim Issah, have accused National Security operatives of assault. The incident occurred on Thursday.

The men stated that the alleged assault happened during an exercise by the Okaikwei North Municipal Assembly. They claim the operatives beat them after they protested the removal of vehicles.

The vehicles were parked along Nmane Street 9, near their workshop. The assembly was conducting an exercise to clear the street.

Mohammed and Issah reported the incident to the police. They are seeking justice for the alleged brutality.

The National Security operatives involved have not yet commented. The Okaikwei North Municipal Assembly has also not released a statement regarding the specific incident.
