Lance Corporal Morris Addae, a member of the National Anti-Illegal Mining Operations Secretariat task force, has fully recovered from a gunshot wound.
He was shot in the thigh earlier this year while on duty during an operation to stop illegal mining activities known as galamsey.
The incident occurred on Tuesday, January 20, 2026, in the Dormaa Central area.
