The Narcotics Control Commission (NACOC) has issued a public apology to Mr. Ebenezer Twum Asante following his inadvertent inclusion in images from a routine behavioural detection exercise. The incident occurred at the Accra International Airport on February 19, 2026.
NACOC stated that the exercise was conducted as part of their standard operational procedures. The commission has expressed regret for any distress or inconvenience caused to Mr. Asante by the unauthorized use of his likeness in official documentation.
