Community groups in Kenyasi, Ahafo Region, have asked for police officers to be transferred. They say this is needed to help fight rising crime.

Frank Kofi Adusei, chairman of the Omanbotantim Association, spoke about the issue. He explained that some police officers have stayed in Kenyasi for many years.

Mr. Adusei believes that moving these officers could improve how the police work in the community.

The groups suggest that new officers might bring fresh approaches to law enforcement.

They hope this change will help address the concerns about crime in Kenyasi.

This request comes as a response to worries about safety in the Ahafo Region.

The Ghana Police Service has been urged to consider the community's concerns.
