Inspector General of Police Tunji Disu has issued a warning to Nigerians. He asked them to stop recording police officers while they are on duty.
Disu stated that turning police officers into entertainment figures is demoralizing. He said this practice distracts officers from their work.
The Inspector General stressed that police officers need to concentrate to perform their duties effectively. He believes video recordings cause unnecessary distractions.
Disu made these remarks during a press conference.
