The Ghana Civil Aviation Authority (GCAA) has rejected claims of abuse of power. These allegations were made against the Director-General, Rev. Stephen Wilfred Auther.

The Ghana Air Traffic Safety Electronics Association (GhATSEA) had accused the Director-General of intimidation and victimisation.

The GCAA stated that these claims are unfounded. The Authority specifically denied that National Security personnel were used to intimidate staff.

Official statements from the GCAA confirm the denial of these allegations.
