Police in the Central Region have arrested a 72-year-old man and his 68-year-old wife. They are accused of unlawfully possessing firearms.
The arrest happened after officers searched the couple’s home. Authorities found a pump-action gun during the search.
Several cartridges were also discovered at the property. The firearms were reportedly unregistered.
The Ghana Police Service is handling the ongoing investigation into the matter.
