Community groups in Kenyasi are concerned about the length of time some police officers have served in the area. They believe this might be affecting their ability to fight crime effectively.

The Omanbotantim Association, through its chairman Frank Kofi Adusei, has officially requested that these long-serving officers be transferred. This call comes amid worries about a rise in criminal activity within the Ahafo Region community.

Adusei stated that some police officers have been stationed in Kenyasi for extended periods. He believes bringing in new officers could introduce fresh perspectives and improve law enforcement efforts.

The groups aim to enhance public safety and restore confidence in the police's ability to manage the security situation in Kenyasi. They hope the transfer will lead to more proactive crime prevention measures.
