The Chief of Defence Staff, Lieutenant General William Agyapong, has conducted an inspection of the ongoing works on the vital Accra-Kumasi Expressway. Ghana Armed Forces engineers have successfully cleared a significant 17.75 kilometers of the 175.6-kilometer corridor.
Project teams have indicated that the ambitious infrastructure project remains on schedule for completion within the next 20 weeks. Despite facing various challenges, the military's involvement in clearing the route is a key factor in maintaining the project's timeline.
