Johnson Asiedu Nketiah, the chairman of the National Democratic Congress, has commented on the ongoing police recruitment exercise. He voiced concern over the substantial number of young Ghanaians seeking to join the police force.
Mr. Asiedu Nketiah stated that approximately 500,000 young people have applied to become police officers. He raised a rhetorical question about the availability of crime to address with such a large police contingent.
