Accra Mayor Michael Kpakpo Allotey has apologized to citizens following an incident where a city guard allegedly extorted money.
The mayor confirmed that the city guard involved has been arrested.
He is currently detained at the ministry police station.
The Accra Metropolitan Assembly has reached out to the affected driver.
They offered an apology and assured him that the matter is being addressed.
