Seven police personnel have been interdicted by the Ghana Police Service following allegations of an extortion incident in Accra. The officers are accused of demanding money from an individual.
The accused officers, who were reportedly part of a patrol team, allegedly compelled the victim to withdraw funds from an ATM to satisfy their demands. The Police Service has initiated an investigation into the matter.
