A joint operation by Ghana Immigration Service and the Ghana Police Service has resulted in the arrest of 28 foreign nationals.

The arrests took place in Pakyi, located in the Amansie West District.

A landlord was also apprehended for allegedly housing the foreign nationals.

Authorities stated the individuals are suspected of violating Ghana's immigration laws.

The operation was supported by the Amansie West District Assembly.

Further investigations are underway to determine the status of each individual arrested.
