Twenty-eight foreign nationals and a landlord were arrested during a security operation in Pakyi Number One and Two. These communities are in the Amansie West District of the Ashanti Region.
The operation was conducted by a joint team. This team included officers from the Ghana Immigration Service and the Ghana Police Service. The Amansie West District Assembly also took part.
Their goal was to identify and apprehend foreigners living in the area without proper documentation.
The arrested individuals were taken into custody by the security personnel.
