Twenty-eight foreign nationals and their landlord were arrested in Pakyi Numbers One and Two. This occurred in the Amansie West District of the Ashanti Region.

The arrests came after a joint security operation. The Ghana Immigration Service and the Ghana Police Service participated.

The Amansie West District Assembly also joined the effort.

The operation’s goal was to find foreigners living in the area without valid paperwork.

Security personnel conducted the search. They were looking for people without legal documents to stay in Ghana.

Further investigations are expected. The landlord faces charges related to harboring undocumented individuals.
