Authorities in the Oti Region have announced a significant security operation resulting in the seizure of a large cache of ammunition. A cargo truck carrying thousands of live cartridges was intercepted by the Nkwanta Divisional Police.
The truck, identified as GW 9927-13, was found to be loaded with 7,000 AA and 3,000 BB cartridges. The driver, identified as 27-year-old Richard Kpimbi, and his 20-year-old accomplice, Latif Adam, have been taken into custody in connection with the discovery.
