Police in Tanoso have arrested two people. They are suspected of being involved in illegal mining activities. The arrests happened in the Tanoso area of the Ahafo Region.

The suspects are Nana Amoako Atta. He is known as Aseda Ben. He is the Ankobeahene of the Tanoso Traditional Council. The other suspect is Alhassan Adamu.
