Police have arrested two men in Abokobi, Greater Accra Region. One of the men is a suspected notorious land guard named Saviour Kojo Ekpe.

The arrests followed an intelligence-led operation on March 5, 2026. Authorities said the suspects were involved in intimidating people and possessing weapons illegally.

The Ghana Police Service stated that Ekpe had been terrorizing residents in the Abokobi area. He was linked to numerous acts of violence and land disputes.

During the arrest, police retrieved firearms and ammunition from the suspects. The exact type and quantity of the weapons are currently under investigation.

Both individuals are now in police custody. They will face criminal charges related to their alleged activities.

This action aims to restore peace and security in Abokobi. Land guarding and related violence remain a concern in parts of the Greater Accra Region.
