A police operation in Kumasi has successfully apprehended a group of suspected robbers. The Ghana Police Service stated that the gang is believed to be behind several significant robberies within the city.
During the raid, law enforcement officers seized multiple locally manufactured firearms. Stolen property suspected to have been taken during the robberies was also recovered.
The police did not immediately release the identities of the arrested individuals.
Investigations are ongoing to determine the full extent of the gang's criminal activities.
The arrests aim to improve public safety in Kumasi.
