Police in the Ashanti Region have arrested four Chinese nationals. They were apprehended for engaging in illegal mining activities.

The arrests took place in the Amansie South District. The police were conducting an operation to clamp down on illegal mining operations in the region.

The four Chinese nationals are now in police custody. Further investigations are ongoing.
