The Ghana Police Service has arrested 26 Nigerian nationals. These arrests were part of operations targeting human trafficking and cybercrime groups.

Police conducted intelligence-led operations. These led to the apprehension of the suspects.

During the operations, 33 victims were rescued. Their safety was secured by the police.

Dozens of electronic devices were also recovered. Authorities believe these were used in cyber-enabled fraud.

A separate operation in the Ashanti Region led to the arrest of two other suspects. Details of their alleged crimes were not fully disclosed.

The police stated these actions are part of ongoing efforts to combat serious criminal activities.
