The Ashanti Regional Police Command has arrested a pastor and two other individuals. Reverend Ebenezer Akonnor is among those apprehended.
The arrests are linked to alleged illegal mining activities. These operations reportedly took place in the Amansie South District.

Authorities stated that mining equipment was found. Chemicals used in mining were also discovered at the scene during the operation.
