Authorities have destroyed a wooden boat suspected of being used for illegal fuel smuggling in Sekondi-Takoradi. The operation was a joint effort between the National Petroleum Authority (NPA) and the Western Naval Command of the Ghana Navy.

The destruction of the impounded vessel is part of intensified efforts by authorities to curb illicit fuel trade activities in the region. The operation signifies a strong stance against economic sabotage and the illegal diversion of petroleum products.
