The National Anti-Illegal Mining Operations Secretariat (NAIMOS) has reportedly destroyed 24 excavators during an anti-galamsey operation in Wassa Amenfi East.
The operation, aimed at curbing illegal mining activities, saw NAIMOS personnel confiscate and destroy the heavy-duty machinery. This action is part of a broader effort to enforce mining regulations and protect the environment from the impacts of illegal mining.
