The Ghana Immigration Service has successfully conducted a significant anti-trafficking operation across the Greater Accra Region, resulting in the rescue of numerous individuals subjected to exploitation.

The operation led to the interception of 305 West African nationals. Among those rescued were 113 children, 66 women, and 126 men, highlighting the pervasive nature of human trafficking in the region.
