Police have confirmed an attack on the residence of James Kofi Annan, a former parliamentary candidate for the Effutu Constituency, following reports of gunfire by unknown assailants.

Details surrounding the incident remain limited. Police sources say the attack was carried out by unidentified gunmen, but have not disclosed the exact time of the incident or the number of people involved. It is also not yet clear what weapons were used or whether any items were damaged or taken from the property.
