Police in the Volta Region have arrested a 65-year-old woman for child trafficking.
The woman is accused of bringing a child into Ghana from a nearby country.
The Ghana Police Service confirmed the arrest and stated the victim has been rescued.
The child is currently in protective custody.
Further investigations into the trafficking network are underway.
