Traditional leaders in Konongo have taken a drastic step against illegal mining activities by performing traditional rites to curse individuals involved in galamsey operations.
The leaders stormed a known illegal mining site, where they invoked curses using schnapps and eggs, targeting those engaged in the illicit trade that continues to plague the area.
