Renowned investigative journalist Anas Aremeyaw Anas has addressed circulating online rumours suggesting that he and his Tiger Eye PI investigative unit had completed a secret exposé into the conduct of Prophet Stephen Adom Kyei-Duah, a well-known religious leader in Ghana.
In a statement posted on his official Facebook page on January 26, 2026, Anas described the claims as false and misleading. He shared a graphic that had been circulating online, which purported to quote him in relation to the alleged investigation, and labelled it as fake. Anas clarified that there was no such investigation by him or his organisation into Prophet Adom Kyei-Duah or his church at that time.
The rumours began circulating on social media in late January, with posts claiming that Anas had conducted undercover work and was preparing to publish findings about the preacher and his activities. Some versions of the posts also linked the alleged material to incidents involving members of the prophet’s congregation. However, in his response, Anas made it clear that he did not issue or endorse any such claim.
Anas’s public clarification has prompted mixed reactions from members of the public on social media, with some users supporting his denial and urging caution in accepting unverified reports, while others continued to share speculation about investigative work.
At the time of the statement, there was no indication that any formal complaint, legal proceeding or official investigation involving Anas and Prophet Adom Kyei-Duah had been launched by Tiger Eye PI or related investigative bodies.
