Police and immigration officers have arrested 28 foreigners in the Amansie West District. They were found to have entered Ghana without the correct paperwork.

The arrests also include several landlords who housed the individuals. This operation took place in the communities of Pakyi No.1 and Pakyi No.2.

The Ghana Police Service and the Ghana Immigration Service conducted the joint operation.

Authorities stated that the individuals did not possess the required documents for entry into the country.

The landlords are accused of facilitating their stay without proper verification.

Further investigation into the circumstances of their entry and residence is underway.
