A joint security operation led to the arrest of twenty-eight foreign nationals and their landlord.
The arrests took place at Pakyi Numbers One and Two in the Amansie West District of the Ashanti Region.
The operation was carried out by the Ghana Immigration Service and the Ghana Police Service.
The Amansie West District Assembly also participated in the effort.
Authorities stated the operation aimed to find foreigners living in the area without proper documentation.
The landlord was arrested for allegedly housing individuals without legal status.
Investigations are ongoing to verify the immigration status of those arrested.
Further actions will be taken based on the findings of the investigation.
