Security forces have arrested 28 foreign nationals and their landlord. The arrests happened at Pakyi Numbers One and Two in the Amansie West District. This area is in the Ashanti Region.

The operation was carried out by the Ghana Immigration Service and the Ghana Police Service. The Amansie West District Assembly also participated in the exercise.

Authorities stated the goal was to find foreigners living in the area without valid documentation. The security teams acted to enforce immigration laws.

The arrested individuals were taken into custody by the authorities. Investigations into their residency status and documentation are underway.

Those found to be in the country unlawfully could face deportation. The landlord faces charges for housing individuals without proper legal standing.
