Twenty-eight foreign nationals were arrested along with their landlord. The arrests happened in Pakyi Numbers One and Two, located in the Amansie West District of the Ashanti Region.
The operation was carried out by a combined team of security personnel. This included officers from the Ghana Immigration Service and the Ghana Police Service. The Amansie West District Assembly also participated in the effort.
The purpose of the operation was to identify and apprehend foreigners residing in the area without valid travel documents or permits.
The security team conducted the operation to ensure compliance with immigration laws.
