Security forces have arrested twenty-eight foreign nationals and a landlord in Pakyi Numbers One and Two. The arrests took place in the Amansie West District of the Ashanti Region.

A joint operation was carried out by the Ghana Immigration Service and the Ghana Police Service. The Amansie West District Assembly also participated in the exercise.

The goal of the operation was to identify and apprehend foreigners residing in the area without valid documentation.

The security personnel acted on intelligence gathered about the presence of undocumented individuals.

Those arrested are being processed by the relevant authorities.

The arrests highlight ongoing efforts to ensure compliance with immigration laws in the region.

Further investigations into the status of the arrested foreign nationals are expected.

The landlord was arrested for allegedly housing individuals without proper legal authorisation.
