Twenty-eight foreign nationals and a landlord were arrested in Pakyi Numbers One and Two in the Amansie West District of the Ashanti Region. The arrests occurred during a security operation. Ghana Immigration Service and Ghana Police Service conducted the raid.
The operation aimed to find foreigners living in the area without the correct paperwork. These individuals did not have valid residency documents.
The Amansie West District Assembly also took part in the joint security exercise. Officials worked together to ensure the operation was carried out effectively.
The arrested foreign nationals are being processed. Authorities will determine their legal status in Ghana. Further investigations are expected.
