A joint operation has led to the arrest of twelve Nigerian nationals. The arrests were made by a team from the IGP’s Cyber Vetting and Enforcement Unit, the Criminal Investigations Department CID Headquarters Surveillance Unit, and the Ghana Immigration Service GIS.

These individuals are suspected of being involved in organised cyber fraud. They are also linked to human trafficking activities, according to authorities.

The operation took place across an undisclosed location within Ghana.
