Twelve Nigerian nationals have been arrested in Ghana. They are suspected of involvement in cyber fraud and human trafficking. This was reported by the Ghana Police Service.

The arrests were made during a joint operation. This operation included officers from the Cyber Vetting and Enforcement Team. It also involved the Surveillance Unit of the Criminal Investigations Department CID Headquarters. The Ghana Immigration Service also participated.

The suspects are believed to be part of an organized group. They allegedly engaged in cyber fraud activities. Human trafficking is also among the alleged crimes.
