A Mamprugu youth group based in Accra has officially requested an independent investigation into the circumstances surrounding the death of Abdul-Aziz Iddrisu. This individual was widely known by the name Baaluuse.
The group's spokesperson stated that they believe Iddrisu may have been a victim of an extrajudicial killing.
They are demanding full transparency and accountability from the relevant authorities.
The call comes as the youth group seeks justice for the deceased and assurances of proper conduct by security forces.
