The Amansie Central District Chief Executive (DCE) will continue in his role while an investigation takes place. This decision comes from the Lands Ministry.

The ministry said the DCE's presence in his office has not caused problems for the investigation. This information was shared by the Media Relations Officer for the Lands Ministry.

He explained that the integrity of the ongoing probe has not been compromised. The DCE is currently being investigated for unspecified reasons.

The official spoke about this matter on a radio news program on Monday, March 16.

The ministry's stance is that the investigation can proceed fairly. There is no indication that the DCE’s duties interfere with the process.
