Dr. Yussif Sulemana, a Technical Advisor to the Ministry of Energy, has explained the benefits of extending the Jubilee and Tweneboa, Enyenra, and Ntomme (TEN) Petroleum agreements.
He stated the extensions will bring increased investment into the upstream oil and gas sector.
Dr. Sulemana believes this investment is needed to stop a decline in the industry.
The extended agreements are expected to encourage companies to put more money into oil exploration and production in Ghana.
