Investigative journalist Manasseh Azure Awuni has spoken about the difficulty of seeing wrongdoing go unpunished.
He stated that it is painful to spend years investigating crimes, often at personal risk.
Awuni expressed frustration over Ghana’s accountability gap.
He said that many investigations do not result in anyone facing consequences.
Speaking on a news program, Awuni mentioned moments of doubt about the worth of his investigative work.
These doubts arose when the sacrifices made did not lead to justice for the wrongs uncovered.
