The Minister for Health, Kwabena Mintah Akandoh, has ordered a full investigation. This is into the admissions process at the Nalerigu Nursing and Midwifery College.

The college is facing allegations of not following government rules for admitting students.

Reports suggest that the college admitted a number of students far exceeding the approved limit.

Minister Akandoh gave the order following these serious allegations.

This directive was made during a courtesy visit to the North East Region.

The investigation aims to ensure that all admissions comply with national health education standards.

Further details will be provided as the investigation progresses, according to a Named official.
