The Ghana Gold Board, known as GoldBod, has signed a partnership agreement with the Ghana Geological Survey Authority (GGSA). This collaboration focuses on initial investigations into the country's mineral wealth.
The agreement kicks off Phase One of a project aimed at exploring potential mineral deposits. These investigations will cover three specific areas identified as having mineral potential.
These key areas are located in Funsi, Atuna, and Bensere East. The GGSA will conduct the necessary geological surveys in these locations.
This initiative is part of a broader effort to understand and develop Ghana's natural resources. The investigations will provide crucial data for future mining activities.
Both GoldBod and the GGSA are committed to responsible resource exploration. The findings from these initial probes will guide subsequent steps in mineral development.
