The Ghana Gold Board, known as GoldBod, has made an agreement with the Ghana Geological Survey Authority (GGSA). This partnership is for investigating areas with minerals.
The areas to be explored are in Funsi, Atuna, and Bensere East. These places are known to have mineral deposits.
This work is part of the first stage of a larger project. The goal is to better understand the country's mineral wealth.
The GGSA will use its expertise to conduct detailed geological studies.
This collaboration is expected to help in discovering and managing mineral resources more effectively for Ghana.
