The Criminal Investigations Department is continuing its work on the alleged threats made against Special Prosecutor Kissi Agyebeng. The investigation also covers a reported assault on a senior official from the Special Prosecutor's office.
Interior Minister Muntaka Mohammed-Mubarak confirmed that the police department has not yet finished its report on these matters.
The Minister did not provide a timeline for when the investigation would be completed.
This update comes after concerns were raised about the safety of the Special Prosecutor and his staff.
The Ghana Police Service is handling the investigation.
